Why do I buy blocks of time and not actual classes as such?

This works in the same way as mobile phone top-up cards where you basically buy blocks of time. At Magister Musicae, the more time you buy, the more videos you can watch.
So, for example, you can either watch a whole class, or check out the relevant "tags" and watch the excerpt which most appeals to you.
Our policy is that you shouldn't watch even one second of a video which doesn't interest you.
After you've watched a video once, you can watch it as many times as you want over a three month period and not have to use your top-up card again.
